Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Hallo, you will play a pivotal role in generating and qualifying new business opportunities. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, introducing them to Hallo’s AI-powered language assessments and talent solutions. By engaging with prospects through outreach campaigns, discovery calls, and personalized messaging, you’ll build the foundation for strong client relationships and help drive Hallo’s growth.

Responsibilities

1. Prospecting & Outreach

  • Research target accounts across key industries and identify decision-makers.

  • Execute outbound campaigns via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.

  • Generate interest by communicating Hallo’s value proposition clearly and effectively.

2. Lead Qualification & Discovery

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ needs and challenges.

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria.

  • Schedule product demos and meetings for Account Executives.

3. Pipeline Development & Handoff

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team.

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth transitions from prospecting to sales cycle.

  • Track and document prospect interactions in CRM systems.

4. Collaboration & Market Insights

  • Partner with Marketing to align on messaging and campaigns.

  • Provide feedback on lead quality and market trends to optimize targeting.

  • Represent Hallo professionally at events, webinars, and networking opportunities.

 

You’ll thrive in this role if you

  • Have 1–2 years of experience in sales development, business development, or lead generation (SaaS or HR Tech experience preferred).
  • Are highly motivated, resilient, and eager to exceed outreach and meeting targets.
  • Excel at written and verbal communication, with confidence engaging executives and decision-makers.
  • Are comfortable with high-volume outreach and prospecting tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Bring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Are a fast learner with curiosity about SaaS, AI, and global hiring solutions.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment where teamwork and continuous improvement are valued.
